We want to thank all of the children for taking their time to dream up and draw (and make in some cases) their amazing homes. There were so many fantastic drawings and ideas, but to get yourself motivated, get thinking, drawing, and to complete this process is what it's all about.
It was a pleasure going through all of the designs and very proudly asking our judges to try and pick some winners, there were so many. They made us smile so much!

- All Drawings, Sketches, Designs, By Hand (ruler allowed), on A4 pages. Black & White or Colour.
- Crazy Ideas Encouraged But Not Essential
- Parents To Submit Entry By 12:00 Midnight Saturday 25th April
- Child First Name And Age To Be Given Only.

About Us & The Competition
Ceardean Architects are a well-established architectural firm located in Dublin 8. We are running a kid’s home design competition in order to provide a competitive recreational outlet for children of ages 4 to 16 years old. The main purposes of this competition is to respond to a demand for creative activities for children, and parents, seeking such opportunities as they spend considerable time at home during these unprecedented times.
Brock Delappe Estate Agents only act as a sponsor in this event and have no access to entrant data, and will not be involved in the competition process.
Data Privacy
Ceardean is committed to protecting the personal data of the Kids Ideal Home Design Competition entrants and take the security of this information very seriously. All information is treated in line with our company privacy policy and GDPR obligations.
Information Collected
We will collect basic personal data about you and your child when you enter the Competition on their behalf or contact us about the Competition. We will ask you to provide the following types of information: Personal details (e.g. name, age) & Contact details (email address & phone number)
How We Use Your Personal Data
Ceardean will only use Entrant data for the purposes directly associated with the competition process. To communicate about progress, winners, and follow on virtual exhibitions where all entries will be published on our website with only the first name and age of the child will be published alongside the drawing/entry.
We acknowledge that by entering this competition you are deemed to have given us permission for the aforementioned purposes only.
Your information will not be passed on to any third party outside of our organisation. All winners judged by members of our organisation.
Storing of Competition Data
The winner information will be retained in the event that further competitions are organised but to a maximum of 8 years. All other entries will be disposed of within 6 months of competition.
Your Rights
You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and to be provided with a copy and to have any inaccurate information corrected. You may also have rights to restrict some of the processing we have described above or withdraw any consent you may have given us. You may also exercise the right to data portability and erasure of personal data.
