Let there be Stairs

Description:

Tread lightly on the stairs.  Glass skylights can create a stair core that brings natural daylight into the interiors and serves as the spine of the house.  If your heart is set on fully carpeted stairs … This can work too.  A stair runner is probably the easiest way to bring pattern to your floor and it will instantly add character to a hallway. A stripe helps to lead the eye up and down the stairs.  Alternatively, a Quirky ply craftsmanship stairwell – An unconventional approach features in the design of this Cottage, a bold, steeply graded and exceptionally eccentric stairs. Built in a 1930’s cottage, this staircase is not only beautiful and sculptural, but adds an enormous amount of character to the space.
